Privacy Policy for AMZ Sniper
Last Updated: October 26, 2025
1. Introduction
Welcome to AMZ Sniper ("we," "us," "our"), a product developed by Rachid under the Zon Spy brand. Your privacy is not just a policy; it is the foundation of our design philosophy. This Privacy Policy explains what little information we collect, what information we do not collect, and how we use, store, and protect it when you use our AMZ Sniper Chrome extension (the "Service").
By purchasing, installing, or using the Service, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. Our guiding principle is to collect the absolute minimum information necessary to provide and improve the Service, with a "local-first" approach to data.
2. Information We Collect
We have meticulously engineered the Service to be as private as possible. The information we collect is limited to the following categories:
A. License Information: When you purchase a lifetime license through our payment processor, Paddle, they provide us with a unique license key. We store this key to validate your access to the Service and to provide you with support. This is not linked to your personal Amazon account.
B. Anonymous Usage Analytics: We use Google Analytics to collect completely anonymous and aggregated data about feature usage. This helps us understand which tools are most valuable to our users so we can improve them.
What this means: We can see that a feature like the "Keyword Engine" was used, but we cannot see what you searched for. We can see that the "Auto-Fill" feature was activated, but we cannot see what website you were on or what data you used.
This data is non-personally identifiable and is used exclusively for product improvement and bug fixing.
3. Information We Absolutely DO NOT Collect
This is what makes AMZ Sniper fundamentally different. We believe your business data is yours alone. We have architected the Service so that we never have access to, see, store, or transmit any of the following sensitive information:
Your Amazon account credentials, browsing history, or personal information.
The specific search terms you use on Amazon or any other platform.
The content of your Excel files used with the Automation Engine. This data is processed entirely on your local machine.
The contents of your notes in Zon Notes. All notes are stored securely in your browser's local IndexedDB and never leave your computer.
Your API keys for third-party services (like the Google AI Toolkit). Your key is stored locally in your browser and is sent directly from your browser to Google's servers; we never see it.
The products you save in your Product Wallet or My Designs Dashboard. This is stored locally or synced via your personal Chrome account storage.
Any data you enter into web forms using the Automation Engine.
4. How We Use Your Information
The limited information we do collect is used solely for the following purposes:
To Provide and Maintain the Service: To validate your license key and ensure you have access to all features and future updates.
To Improve the Service: To analyze anonymous usage statistics to identify which features are popular, discover bugs, and guide future development.
To Provide Support: If you contact our support email, we will use your email address to communicate with you regarding your query.
5. Third-Party Services Disclosure
For full transparency, the Service interacts with a few third-party APIs to provide its functionality:
Payment Processor (Paddle): Our official merchant of record, Paddle, handles your purchase and license key generation. We do not see or store your payment information.
Google Analytics: As described above, for anonymous usage statistics.
Amazon Suggestion API: The Keyword Engine sends search queries directly to Amazon's public API to retrieve keyword suggestions. These requests are anonymous.
sell.io API (Keyword Grabber): When you use the "Show Keywords" feature on a product page, the product URL (and only the URL) is sent anonymously to this third-party API to retrieve keyword data. No personal information is included.
Google AI API: The AI Toolkit requires you to provide your own Google AI API key. AMZ Sniper acts only as an interface. Your key and your prompts are sent directly from your browser to Google's servers. We do not process, store, or have access to this information.
6. Data Storage and Security
The vast majority of your data, including all your research, notes, and settings, is stored locally on your computer using secure browser technologies like IndexedDB and Chrome Storage. The only information that resides on our servers is your license key for validation purposes. We take reasonable measures to protect this information from loss, theft, and unauthorized access.
7. Your Data Rights
Because we store almost no personal data, your rights are straightforward. You have the right to request deletion of your license key from our system, which will deactivate your license. You can clear all locally stored data at any time by clearing your browser's extension data or using the "Reset" functions within the extension.
8. Children's Privacy
The Service is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
